Folk Art Turkeys / Vintage

These wooden hand carved turkeys are a delightful piece of vintage folk art.  Made (and stamped) by Beaver Creek Woodworks in Beaman, Iowa.  For many years they were a focal point of a centerpiece for a Thanksgiving buffet in a fine dining restaurant in New Paltz, NY, always drawing "oohs and aahs".

Now they could grace your holiday table in fine style!  Painstakingly carved and painted, the attention to detail is remarkable.  The set of two turkeys is very aesthetically appealing and quite a conversation piece.

The fanned tailed turkey is 19 inches tall, 18 inches wide and has a base that is 8 inches by 4.5 inches.  The sauntering turkey measures 26.25 inches wide by 14 inches high;  the base is 8 inches by 4 inches.
