Tricks and Treats

Well, I just had to share.  Halloween pictures of the grandkids showed up in my mailbox, and I thought them worthy of a special post.  Little Hannah, aka Abby Cadabby!!!, soon to be 2, was in the midst of a nasty cold.   She generally has the sweetest disposition, but was feeling beyond “punky”.

Her good buddy, CJ, aka Cookie Monster, had a runny nose as well.  (The day care personnel must spend half their time wiping noses!)

And then there’s baby Jack – here, a not-so-fierce lion.  He was born June 5, and is a jovial little one.  Natch, he got the cold about 2 days later!

I spent last weekend with this dearest little family in my life.  Makes me realize how precious life is, how important good friends are, how fragile relationships can be, and how much my family means to me.  This has all been said before, but you cannot imagine how wonderful it is to be a “grandma” till you’ve had the opportunity to be one…..

I know there’ll be more to come on this subject!!!!
